I have a great recipe that has taken me a couple of years to perfect, but it works great with just leaves if you have them. Buds are not required, and its very powerful.
Grind up a little over 2 TBL (1/4 ounce) of green herbs into a flour like consistency. (A coffee grinder works best. I don't think you can grind it up too much). Make sure to take out any stems before you grind it. Seeds are okay and good for you!
1-1/2 squares of unsweetened baking chocolate
4 TBL butter (1/2 a stick)
1/2 a cup plus 1 TBL sugar
1 egg
1 splash vanilla
put green flour into 1/4 cup container and fill up the rest with white flour
1/2 c. semi sweet choc chips
1/4 c. chopped pecans
Chop chocolate squares and butter up into to smaller pieces in a bowl using a strong fork. Melt unsweetened chocolate squares and butter in a microwave safe container (usually about 1 to 1-1/2 mins on high and then stir it up until all chunks are gone. Don't burn the chocolate!).
Stir in sugar completely. Stir in egg and vanilla. Put green flour into a 1/4 cup measure or container, then top off the rest of the container with regular white flour. Add to chocolate mixture and stir until mixed. Stir in chips and nuts.
Pour into heavily greased and lightly floured 5" x 5" square baking pan (size is important!). Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (176.6 C) for 25 minutes.
Test with a toothpick to make sure it's done. If you put in the toothpick through a chocolate chip, the melted chip will come out on the toothpick and might make it seem like the baking is not done. If that happens, check again in another spot.
Let cool before cutting into 9 pieces.
